CR Sheets: Precision Cut-to-Length for Visible Surfaces

Cold Rolled Sheets are processed on precision CTL lines that protect the bright surface finish that makes CR so valuable for visible applications.
1. Protected Handling
CR coils arrive lightly oiled. Decoilers and pinch rolls are rubber-coated to prevent surface marking, and operators wear gloves whenever handling the strip head.
2. Precision Levelling
A small-diameter precision leveller (often a 4-high cassette leveller) removes coil set without leaving roll marks. Flatness targets are I-Unit ≤10 across the strip.
3. Inspection & Shearing
An inspection station with raking light highlights any surface defects before the shear. Cut sheets are stacked, interleaved with paper when required, banded, and crated.
