What Are GI Coils?
Galvanized Iron (GI) coils are cold-rolled steel coils that have been hot-dip coated with a layer of zinc. The zinc barrier protects the underlying steel from rust and corrosion, making GI coils the preferred choice for outdoor, humid and coastal environments.
